Rocky Mountain High

Sitting in Pátzcuaro at 7200 ft. , in the mountains of Michoacán, Mexico, I reminisce over a September Colorado trip to visit my sister in Estes Park.
A first stop was at Washington Park in Denver, where for many years I ran and dreamed, and where Glen and I have good history.
Willowood nestles tranquilly at the edge of Estes Park. We enjoyed warm days and crisp nights.
A Pygmy Nuthatch at the feeder.
Day hikes were glorious.
Don't be fooled into approaching this elk because it is grazing in town.
My Estes Park sis.
Bro Bruce turns mushrooms in beautiful wood. These smooth shapes beg to be handled .
